Hit one of the local impoundments. I got there at probably five pm. Typically I fish it at night but wanted to try for the afternoon bite. They wanted it low and slow. I was using the little shad storm paddle tail swimbait and was pretty much bottom bouncing them or retrieving them about as slow as I could without snagging the rocks. Ended up with a few eyes and had a really nice bass follow my lure in almost to my feet.

I have some of those exact Storms' they suck! (for me).

I didn't have any faith in them either til my buddy told me he did well on them and I gave them a shot.

I have caught fish on them before, but there are a number of jig combos/ paddletails that I would choose over them

I hope you're not talking about whatever you been using lately! Haha just kidding. What do you prefer?
