A week or so ago here in MN I submitted PTO to get out of the office and chase a good Bluegill bite. It seemed like I had this Metro lake all to myself for a change and was able to find a few areas which were holding nice Bluegills. Weeds seemed to be the key in finding these fish, if you weren't marking weeds - the fish didn't seem to be around. The fish (other than small Pike and Bass) weren't very aggressive but small tungsten jigs and plastics seemed to trigger the bite.
