Took a week vacation and went on a road trip by myself, just me, alone, no one else, just me..

Checked out a couple of areas, specifically up around Glacier and then down in the Bitteroot Valley.

Some of the rivers are BIG, there are many small creeks also though.

I didn’t get any lunker hero shots, my best fish came from the Bitteroot ( what a sweet river to fish).

Overall between the Bitteroot and some small streams I caught around 400 fish.

Brooks, browns, rainbows, and four whitefish, but the vast majority where cutthroats.

Was very fun and quite relaxing.

400 fish in a week is 60-70 per day (I'm assuming you fished 6 days and rested on the 7th or, rather, used 1 day to drive). Sounds like steady action! :thumb:

I fished Sunday thru Thursday.

Mind you some of the fish weren't huge on the small creeks, but even on larger waters like the Bitterroot, with larger fish, it was 20 in the AM and 20 in the afternoon.

Yes, good steady action.
