some of the best fishing i do is drifting. I usually do pretty well and like others have said rather than buy an expensive drift sock if its not too windy I find my minnow bucket serves well and additionally it keeps my minnows fresh.

Hay all. As most of you may know im pretty new to boat fishing. When people say 'We were drifting'. Are you talking setting up at a spot and just letting the wind or any under water current dictate where you go? Man I have alot to learn about fishing from a boat :0
