My girlfriend thinks I am insane

The past 3 nights I have fished after work. Tuesday night at the ponds on 136 and York, last night at Rocky Mountain Lake, and tonight at a private pond. All 3 nights I hooked a fish on the very first cast, different baits everytime. Anyone else done that?

Once in Canada on m first cast of the trip I got a 30+ lb Spring!

Same time we were about to leave and my brother did the old "one more cast" thing we all do and also got a 30+ lb Spring. Those were the only roe hogs we got the whole trip.

1st and last cast.

That pond on 136th and york, is it on the NW corner of 136th and York?

What kind of fish they have there?

Would be nice to take my son there and catch & release some fishes.

one time i was fishing and as i got there the fish jumped out of the water. put itself on my stringer and then gut itself........now thats fishing.

hahaha I had a fish do that once, but did yours dance its way to the fring pan like mine? I didn't think so. >

He even flipped himself halfway through cooking. Now that was a good little fish.

Im glad to hear you are having a good time incorperreal. Keep up the first cast winning streak. You gotta love when they just cant stay off your line.

Two years ago fishing a bass tournament in Norton,Ks
my son and I were trying to get that 5th bass needed to limit. He's on the trolling motor and I'm in the back.
Next thing we know there is a largemouth flopping on the front deck. My son looked at me and I looked at him and we both did not just swing a fish on board.
The crazy fish jumped into our bass boat on his own.
Luckily he was undersized and we let him go.
The thought did cross my mind ...... JK

ahahah thats a cool story...man i miss norton...i hope the water level goes up some more this year...some good places to fish there

Fished the little laramie today, 1st cast again. Went to Lilly lake 5 minutes later, got a rainbow on the 2nd, 4th and 10th casts. Then went to some resevoir on 287 and got another on the 3rd cast
