We were in whittier, peters creek, lake creek and alexender lake for pike. based our operations out of Anchorage and Wasilla turned in rental car with 1000 miles and a blow out in 6 days

is that a shark? i cant decide where to go for my senior trip....key west, canada, or alaska, fishing in all the places of course

Awsome Pics! bet the halibut and Lingcod tasted great! I gotta get up there soon.

That was the first trip that I only say them from the plane. We did not see darkness till we got home. the lack of night was great for fishing but after a couple of days you crash and burn from going to hard.

The halibut were caught in 300 ft of water useing circle hooks with 4 to 6 lbs of lead with squid, it took 10 minutes just to check your bait( can you feel the burn) about 15 to 30 minutes to hall up a fish depending on size. One of the guys with us said he could not belive he paid 225.00 to be tortured. The lingcod where caught on huge crocidile spoons.
