2nd Rod: Ugly Stick, combined with a ...
2nd Reel: Spinning Reel, Shimano open faced "BG30" model.

What I like about the Shimano reels, is this. Shimano builds a very good adustable drag system, and even though I cannot cast as far as many people, this drag really is a workhorse system. I do like that. I've come to appreciate drag as sometimes the critical factor.

WAIT A MINUTE....

This was very stupid of me! All the time I thought this spinning reel was a SHIMANO, and after closer look, it's a DAIWA BG30!
