I am looking for an outboard, prefer mercury, good running, 1990 or newer, and preferably a fuel injected model 2 or 4 stroke, prefer 4 stroke.

currently i have a 650 mercury (1967 4 cyl 65 hp) and it is very hard to find parts for it, or i would rebuild it, runs, but need something more dependable.

anyone seen anything, would be helpful, boat motors.com, too new, too expensive, checked thrifty nickel too.

Try Harris Marine. I recently sunk my 2004 boat w/ 50 Merc 4 stroke motor and after repairs the motor was never the same. So I was forced to buy another Merc 50 hp 4 stroke. They gave me $4300 for my old one and free labor for the new one. Long story short I ended up paying $2000 for my brand new motor.

Should talk to them and work a deal.
