Will be at Bull Shoals April 1st. Staying at Lead Hill CG. Want to fish for walleye and crappie. Can anyone help me with fishing near Lead Hill or do I need to go fish the rivers that come in from Missouri. Thanks

BuckMaxx- My research shows the white bass are moving into the rivers and that the crappie and walleye should be in the shallows due to the lake temp being warmer for this time of year. Although i will be 35 miles away from the dam I my head down there as the stripers are near the river inlets looking for shad.

I went to Bull Shoals and fished it for a month. The upper ends that are in Missouri will be better for largemouth, the lower end better for smallies. I fished the lower end mostly and any main lake or secondary point will produce. Mostly threw tubes and cranks and spinnerbaits. Don't know much about the white bass run although I did catch some walleye on the lower end. In April everything in that lake will be on a good bite so you can pick your species and fish for them.

I liked the lower lake better because its clear water.

Beautiful lake, you'll like it. Might want to hire a guide.
