Did they just start carrying them there? I checked and asked a few weeks ago and they said they didn't carry them. But who knows, I'll take your word for it and assume that they finally wised up. Otherwise, Discount Tackle, on Santa Fe, just about 3-4 miles north of Bowles on the west side of the road has crawlers, leeches and minnows.

Can confirm that the Sportsman's Warehouse sells leeches, bought a dozen there 2 weeks ago. Instead of in water, they sell them in a tin of what they say is moistened newspaper. They seem to keep for quite a while that way, I've got a couple left that are still alive.

It is worth the drive to gander Mtn. Their leeches are huge and tough! I bought a few dozen a couple of weeks ago and still have several left. Have changed the water twice, even have put a few back in the bucket after using them and they continue to live. Tough buggers.
