I just got a new Strikemaster Lithium Lazer and can't get the battery to align with the auger or charger has anyone else had this problem. Bought it through Reed's, taking it back is a hassle. Strikemaster customer service doesn't call me back.???

Damn you guys are funny! Me thinks it can't be that hard. I guess I'll know when I get my auger next week.

Well, just as I thought: it ain't that hard. Press the black buttons on the sides of the battery to mount it on the auger. Putting the battery on the charger simply requires a casual "alignment" job... The harder part is removing the battery from the auger. I guess the OP had not got that far... A little extra oomph does the job there. No manual needed. :D

I used silicone spray -- seemed to help. :)

BTW, this thing rocks! 50 volts! I still need to test it on 30 inch ice and -20. If I still like it after that my Stinking gas augers are for sale!
