Here she is. Picked it up last night after a good cruise on the Tennessee River.

Not the prettiest boat, certainly not a brand new Lund... But it'll be everything we need it to be. Needs some small work... impellor, re-wire of the foot-controlled trolling motor, all crap I can do in a day here at the house.

Haven't named it yet. Waiting for a couple trips out on the boat first. It's the boy's birthday today, so he woke up to quite a surprise this morning. :)

For a boat made in the 70s and a motor from 1985, it's in pretty darn good shape and really scoots on the water when you open it up.

It's my first non-inflatable water vessel, so I've got alot to learn. Eager for the fun and even the challenges ahead of us this Spring and Summer.

Thanks for all the kind words and advice, guys. We're pretty excited to get out and fish now. Been waiting and saving up for a while, and now it's here. Good times are ahead... And yes, fosh porn.

Need to keep up on my cast net practice... That whole area is shad shad shad for forage. Dial THOSE in, and you are in business.

We have fished Kingston 3-4 times so far. I have pix of 50-70 pound blues caught right out from City Park. On the other side of town, the Clinch and Emory confluence has brought buddies of mine some fish in the 20-30 pound class after i told them where to go and what to use.

Lots of good fishing around these parts in Spring through Fall for Stripers and cats. Winter, its all crappie guys out there and a few walleye junkies. :)
