Stow/deploy manually is a pain in the low back and even dangerous some days when the waves are pitching. You just have to wonder if they'll get it right -- like the ipilot, or wrong where it almost always breaks after one season like the copilot. :

I like the Riptide (saltwarer version of the Minnkota). Cost a little more upfront but they are built for tougher duty. The electronics are embeded in epoxy, sacrificial anode to prevent rust, etc.
