Hey There!,
I just moved out west from Florida where I spent all my fishing time on the beach or in saltwater.... Now that spring is kicking in I am dying to go fishing. I got a spinning rod and basic tackle and need to find some fish. I am living in Nederland across from the barker Dam resevoir but its still iced over. I know there are fish in Boulder creek but I dunno how to fish for em... Where is a good place in or near Boulder to try fishing with some worms and a bobber maybe? I would love to have some fish for my table in the next few days. I would appreciate any advice greatly. i haven't fresh water fished in years....

Sharkie,
boulder res. for a couple more weeks then the crowds move in. Gross res is a good place also. boulder creek has some areas closed do to water snails.
boulder county open space has several places with ponds check regs most are lures only. best advice i can give is buy a colorado topo map. it will show you all the creeks etc around .
good luck
