Hello! I am new to the area and I use to fish quite a bit as a kid for crappy back in Iowa. I haven't fished in a while since I have been busy in graduate school, but things are dying down and I have more free time. I wanted to try kokanee salmon fishing this year at blue river near Frisco. I heard snaggin was good, but I have never done such a thing. Does anyone have any tips on how to do so? Also, if I was to angle them, what bait would I use during their spawning season? I want to go towards the middle of November which I think will be right around their spawn. Any thoughts on that timing? Thank you for your help and any tips would be very appreciated!

Read the regs so you know before you go. Should be some folks snagging already at the usual spots. (Hint: use "Search function to read old posts). Buy a dozen or more #5 weighted treble hooks as you will lose many. It's physical. Watch and learn. :thumb:
