No Fantasy Football would translate into $40 more for me this fall, in addition to not sweating the stats all day every Sunday. I'm sure my wife would be happier too. I know I shouldn't get PO'd about my fantasy teams, but I do.

I hope there's a season--The Lions are supposed to come to Denver for the first time in several years.
I'd talk crap about the lions being one of the worst teams in football, but it's really a role reversal now a days. Plus the last time they met I remember a one sided ass whoopin.

I just can't get excited yet about anything to do with this NFL season. I see no reason for optimism that there will be a season. :(

Now, if the judge grants the preliminary injunction ending the lockout, that would be a small positive step.

Oh thats just sweet. Gotta deal with the Raiders at home, on a Monday night, to open the season. And then when you play the Raiders again, it will be coming right off of their bye... The season is gonna start with a really bad taste in some of our mouths, and I don't think it's gonna be the me :D :D :D :D Go Raiders!!

We should start a pool on how many of these games will actually be played. If the NFL was really serious, they would provide the financial info the NFLPA requested, and then the real negotiations could begin.

This is nonsensical. The league opts out of the contract claiming financial hardship, then won't provide the info to prove or disprove that claim, and locks the players out. I wish I didn't give a damn about football.
