Anybody been night fishing this spring? I made it out twice to Cherry Creek before they put out the nets. One Bow, a Catfish and a small Eye. Usual disappointing results!

I sure wish we could fish Aurora at night ;D

Anybody fished Pueblo yet?

Neal-I fished Pueblo all winter for trout-pretty good bite and the lake stayed open from mid-lake to the dam. I plan on doing some night fishing there-just beaching my boat-as soon as the nightime temps get up into the 40's. Gonna fish the day for bass and the night for cats. Just me and the pooch. Ed

I did that twice last summer. Just took my kids tubing, till they wanted to fish, then went up closer to the where the Arkansas comes in and fished for bass the rest of the day. Even on a Sunday you can get away from all the jet skiers!

Yes I did alot of night fishing last season mostly at Pueblo. With all the water wakers most of the fish have adapted to a early morning, late evening or after dark feeding pattern. This maybe true for a lot of lakes but the afternoon actiion at Pueblo is especially tough.
