mostly im fishing dillion res targeting big browns in the summer time i do pretty well at night

Big Browns will go for sucker meat or a glob of crawlers. I catch a few in the spring when targeting Macks so I don't see why it wouldn't work through the ice. T-Fin

thanks T, I have tryed sucker but no luck yet night crawlers also they just dont seem to be yhat active

I use the old open bail system and let them run before I set the hook. If they feel any resistance, they are gone. I've seen some good sized Macks and Browns caught this way.

they havent even given me the oppurtunity to try to set the hook yet in the summertime it is a totally differnt story

fished friday night caught 5 bows nothing over 14 inches though. all in all its still agood time no browns though i will just keep trying going ouy tonight or tommorrow night depends on how much snow we get today
