I'm a life member. Love the mags. Good info without a lot of BS. I used to get a bunch of junk mail when I first signed up but things have settled down...
Also have saved most if not all issues of the mags, so if you are ever looking for a past issue, let me know. Oh, yea, the books they sell are good ones too. A whole series on different species.

The thing I don't like about NAFC is they send you books or tapes every month. I have written them 3 times and told them to stop but they don't. Eventually they will get tired of paying for postage and quit.

I do like the magazine. Like to get free stuff from them too. wish I could get picked to test a boat! But we all know the odds are pretty slim for that.

I signed up for the free membership and got the first 3 magazines for this year. Its an "OK" magazine some of the articles are helpful but its the same information you can get from internet articles.
Other magazines seem to have more information in them so if you are joining just for the magazine you may want to subscribe to a fishing magazine instead, probably one that caters to a species you prefer.

They always send me stickers and sometimes free hooks.Size 6 baitholders.I dont waste my fishing money on mags and tapes or classes or cr*p like that.I just go fishing-no better teacher than experience.
