Hit the mile for a couple days and others must have seen the weather report as it was packed. No "W" and I almost had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't lost. Lots of fish still on reds. Most of the fish I caught seemed to be at the tail of runs and were caught on mostly large nymphs and San Juans fished on or near the bottom. Skipped most major holes and focused on smaller runs and seams. Best fishing was afternoon to evening. Averaged a fish or two an hour but had to work hard for them. Nothing over 20" all rainbows and one brown. Nothing pic worthy. About 15 boats at chalk bluffs area must be some good fishing there as the rest of the lake was empty. Never seen it so busy up there hopefully it's not like that all year. Didn't make it to reef or Fremont. Tight lines if you go.
