No news on the walleye. Talked to the marina owner Sunday and he indicated that the water temp had dropped 4 degrees last week with the hail. Sunday/Monday probably did the water temp no good either but he did say the outlet and inlet are flowing now. That might get them going.

I will be there Friday am with my son, stop by and say hi, buy a CWA hat/shirt from us (I do the promo stuff for the CWA) or have a beer/beverage. I am in the Elks Campground, maroon and cream Crestliner, Evenrudes on back. Maroon F350 CC, long bed.

I will. I will have the Laredo 5th will in the first loop of the elks campground. I think it is in site 6 or 7. I have a blue lund walk thru older 95 boat.

Talked to the park today and they mentioned that the marina was only open on weekends. Is there another shop in down that sell bait?

Good luck
Thanks
Jim

Help dude.  You used to be allowed in Sterling - do they have another bait shop?
Wal Mart has night crawlers. Blue Bird Sporting Goods by the hospital has bait sometimes if he's there.

We always got our bait from this dude that had it in his garage and had a minnow tank in his backyard. You took what you wanted and left the cash in the can. I don't know if he's still alive, but his house is the white one on the corner of Platte (or next street over) and that one street just south of 3rd. Or maybe it's two streets south of 3rd?

Just got ahold of Tim who runs the marina. He is planning to be open starting wed for the tournament folks. Not sure of the hours the marina phone number is 970-522-1511. He has crawlers, minnows and leaches for all of us

Hope that helps all of us.
