Ran the sail boat around the East end of Pueblo for a couple of hours today.
Played with some lead core, crank baits and dodgers. No luck.
Then did some slabbing. Yes you can can slab from a sail boat.
No luck. Had one possible hit. Was happy I didn't lose any lures.
I talked to others on the water and little or no fish were reported.
Water temp is 44' on the surface. Still lots of bait in the water and my sonar marked lots of suspended fish.
There are some big hooks along the area East of the South Marina and the Gulls are still messing with Shad on the surface.

Mike, I think I saw you out in your sailboat a couple of weeks ago-out in the middle of the lake between North Shore and Shiprock-looks like a nice sailboat if that was you.

I am the only nice sail boat. I have rod holders!
I don't do well in my canoe casting or trolling lead core.
If anyone wants to pretend they have ADHT and wants to try and catch a fish. They are welcome to join me.

Cmon, man get with the program. Its icefishing season.
No, the only ice in pueblo is in our drinks. ;)

We just had our first snow a couple days ago - I'm already looking forward to spring. 20 years of winter in minnesota was enough cold for one lifetime as far as I'm concerned....

Tight Lines and warm feet,
Crk
