I have an old Bayliner from the 80s, belonged to my Grandpa, and it was given to me when he passed. The boat hasn't run since 99. Engine on it stopped, I was told by my uncle it lost compression. It is some unnamed 50 hp outboard. The boat has been outdoors all this time, and is in poor condition inside even though covered. I've decided I just don't have time to work on it, or want to pay someone. I want to get it out of my yard. Trailer is a decent galvanized, typical trailer for something 15' long. Probably need new tires and I am guessing a bulb or two replaced.

I am guessing this boat fits Slayer's crappy boats for sale thread, so I doubt I'll find a home for it. Question is, what to do? Can I take it to the dump, yank it off the trailer and call it a day? I have no clue how to dispose of a boat. I am guessing I can find the trailer a home after the boat is gone.
