Looking for some open water as I have the next two weeks off of work and school ;D I live in Boulder and would drive up to 3 hours for some good open water fishing, if anybody has anywhere they have noticed or fished post or pm me and I'd be greatly appreciative. Tight Lines and Happy Holidays~

Horsetooth Lake west of Ft. Collins is still open and some trout and walleyes are being caught at the north end, don't have any info about other parts of the lake.

I don't know if I'd call the fishing "good", but Estes Lake is w/in an hour and has quite a bit of open water. Mary's up here also has open water. If you fish rivers, the Big Thompson is great for about 2 & 1/2 - 3 miles below the dam. I drive to Hartmann Hockey (behind Gateway Fun Park), and it takes me about 40 - 45 minutes.

Awesome guys, thank you soo much. I will definately have to try a few of those places out, and we'll see how the winter bite is. Happy Holidays, and thanks again!
