Took a buddy I turned onto flyflinging a couple years ago up to Spinney for a day and a half. He'd never experienced opening day and wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I took him up. (Crowded as hell!!)The bite was consistent both days, with never any long dry spells between bites. Fish never really keyed in on any one fly. We caught them on the standard fare of scuds, Yellow-orange eggs, micros in black and brown. Most fish were 14 to 18 inchers but we got maybe a dozen over 20, the biggest at 24. Very windy on Wed. not as bad Thur.
