I'm new to the area and would like to take my kids fishing for Crappie.  Does anyone know a good lake or pond?

Which area? You are almost guaranteed to catch a mess of crappie by making your way to the city park pond in Ft. Collins. The fish are not very big but your coulds probably won't really care.
