Started out targeting bass and caught a ton!! Almost all were decent size.. A couple smaller ones were mixed in though.

My friend FistFullaFish with a typical Bass:

And here is a bass i caught:

FistFullaFish has a few more pics I may post later on today when he sends them to me.

Only targetted gills for about 15 minutes..... Picked up this guy on a yellow maribu jig.

I really needed a good day fishing!! :)

Nice pics and quality fish.... There's nothing wrong with soothing the ol tug jones every once in awhile, even if you are fishing in a barrel.

Can we start a PDC section? I fish mostly private and would show off some pics , but, PDC. Those count in the fish log, so PDC, private does count.

It's fun, it's fishing, but NO it don't count.
Hmmm... Maybe we need to define "count." If it counts for fun and fishing then where does it not count? For bragging rights? For the record books? Or something else? I could see the point for bragging rights. I believe it counts for the record books. What's less known, but counts even less in my opinion(both in terms of bragging rights and the record books), are public places closed to fishing (or fished during illegal hours). :D Private is a lot more legit compared to that. :thumb:

I think that's called "Poaching".

Fishing has alot to do with luck and knowledge. If your lucky enough hand have the knowledge to get access to good private water, than in that respect, Private Counts.
But when fish are artificially fed to reach extreme size and growth rates than your dealing with something even more artificial and your catching pets.so in that respect privatre really doesn't count unless your a little kid, or cannot physically access public areas that have good fishing.

Good points. I don't fish private waters. Too "rich" for my blood. :biggrin1: Lots of blue collar "pride" in this white collar dude, due to humble blue collar beginnings. I was just saying it is legal and would count in the record books.

Private counts. At least here in Tennessee. 90% of ponds and streams are private. There is some excellent big river fishing here and some nice reservoirs... But the money is in the private access.
