Fished Pella last evening using rubber worms, and a ratltrap, and some seeing eye type minnow things. Anyways didn't get anything except pecks from bluegills, also saw four dudes fishing with bait and keeping bass. Sad sight, and maybe why this place hasn't really produced for me in a long while. Maybe next time

Rob --- I've only had the chance to fish there between 4 and 6, and ussually only for an hour. I haven't done well w/ the Bass there in the last 3 & 1/2 weeks though. I was blaming the time, and the weather. 
The bait fishing there is a problem though. I always see worm containers in the trash cans by the parking lot. Keeping Bass though, that sucks. You know, I've fished there at least once a week since spring, and have only seen the DOW there once.
I can't understand how people can disrespect such a well maintained fishery. I feel very lucky to live w/in an hour of there, and that it's not a fee area.
