Pellas Crossing

  Fished Pella from 4:30pm-6:30pm.  I tried the fly rod after giving up on fly fishing a year and a half ago (I'm really uncoordinated  :-[) and caught for 4 bluegill.  After losing the fly switched to mini bomber crank bait (chartruese and dark green) and landed a pretty nice yellow perch. 

  Talked to a ranger named Winndie (pretty nice).  Anyway, asked her about artificial bait.  I showed her through my folder which has senkos, gulp, yum, etc...  She said they were talking about scented baits and if they would be allowed, but as of now it is fine.

  Gonna have to practice more on that fly rod though :-[
