I caught a couple of hammer handles at Howbert Pt. this year. Last year I caught a 5lb. pike thru the ice there in the middle of a crowd of guys on 4lb. test with a silver kastmaster. they really are everywhere. you just have to fish for them the right way. when I was fishing for the bows, I had a few pike check out my lure, but I did'nt want them to bite, so I kept the lure still and they did'nt hit it.
