I know I'm just bustin balls! :thumb:And cooked many other ways but as long as the state is trying to eradicate them I will release them all from the lakes I fish
Do you like lobster but can't afford it? This is the next best thing!I keep hearing this 7-up thing... WTF is up wit dat?
Its pretty simple! Bring 7-Up to a rolling boil in a pot. Drop 1-1.5" cubed pike fillets in, boil for 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain. Dip in melted butter and enjoy.Could you please lay it out for me? How the hell does 7-up come into play during cooking.
Nope! Look it up!.................................
You f***in with me right now?
Tried it with perch the other day, its not the same...Owen it adds sugar content to the meat...making it sweeter...I have heard it done with perch too...
Lol good pointJust going by what a few others go by...everybody's taste buds are different...I mean we have Julia Childs deep frying greasy laker fillets...might as well freeze and deep fry Crisco chunks...
Your welcome! But don't waste a delicious halibut steak on poor mans lobster, thats what pike and burbot are for!Tried the 7-up deal a couple nights ago, but with halibut... Pretty damn tasty!!!
