In 2003 a buddy and me were fishing there and stumbled onto this gal floating
The fish was 42" and though I didn't have a scale, easily over 25 lbs (she was chunky). Certainly within whispering range of the state record (43.5", 30 lbs). It was tagged and I called it in to DOW, but never heard anything back. Sure wish I could've said we caught it rather than found it...
