Had some time before the micro dudes baseball practice so I took him and his stepbrother to the lake we fished off the dock and caught about 20 trout in less then an hour and a half. They were tearing up the salmon eggs, caught 2 off rainbow powerbait. All were stockers 10-13 inches.

PS. Don't forget your license. Also, I checked a 4.5 pound saugeye which a gentleman caught at Pikeview yesterday.

south east corner of Mark Dabling and Austin Bluffs/garden of the gods -- just east of the I-25

went there today looking for some saugeye -- no luck
I was using curly tail grubs on red or black jig heads.
Guys using salmon eggs were tearing up the stocker trout.
others pitching spinners got skunked from what I could tell

Have to park on Mark Dabling and their isnt a gate so you have to walk all the way around to the front of the circle f to get to the lake.
Yeah I think I'm start targetting some saugeye when I am there, never caught one let the kids mess around with the stockers. However they keep me pretty busy so who knows.
