Somewhat new to the metro area. Anyone have any good ideas of where to head out this weekend? No ice fishing and don't want to travel more than 2 hours to the spot.

Thanks!

North of metro you can try Red Feather Lakes, always a good spot for the family outing for trout. Also Carter, Horsetooth, St. Vrain Ponds or Wellington Lakes would be nice choices!

Good luck!

Any other spots outside of the metro area?
Just to save you some time... That wasn't an honest suggestion... Only thing you'll catch outta Sloans is a case of the clap....
