Last year I caught a bunch of fish (walleye, wiper, smallies and trout) on paddle tail plastic swim baits mostly rainbow imitators from Storm Lures. This year it seems that the fish have gotten wise to them or something because they don't seem to do as well. Anyone else have any success with swimbaits or is it only me who's been buying the stupid things?

I caught some walleye and catfish on the Storm baits this spring. But haven't used them lately. I tend to use them along rocky area's because they don't hurt so bad when you lose a half dozen! Last year they worked well on Pike also.

How about a "maybe" I have used the storm brand and type but successfully and unsuccessfully. Sometimes they seem to be the right lure when nothing else works.

I do like the storm wildeye shad because they have a good action and they cast like a rock. Walleye, bass, pike, and trout like them.
The bigger swimbaits are great for pike when rigged with a spinnerhead.
