Picked up my boat and repaired motor yesterday at Canon Marine and took it out for about four hours to test it. Water is 52 degrees on the east end and 58 on the west end. If it stays warm we should hit the magical 60 degree mark by Monday8) Fish are starting to school up in 25-35 of water. I ended up with seven eye's and two decent spots. I kept a 20" and 19" for dinner tonight.

On a sad note they found the missing angler and his boat this week in 120 feet by the dam. I am glad his family now has some sense of closure!

The guys at the inspection station said a 17 lber. ended up in the nets during the spawn operation.

Good report Neal. Sounds like you're finding them.

Fish shallow in the morning just like you are bass fishing. North side of the lake will be 4 degrees warmer and you can access all the bays.
