Went to Pueblo with the wife yesterday - not sure if we want to brave the weekend, holiday crowd at Pueblo. Caught 3 fish up until ~12:00. Then found the fish and they turned on. Ended up with 32 wipers, 17 walleye, 2 crappie and 1 smallmouth. Most fish were suspended in 10 -15 feet in 40 feet of water. Wipers would come up to 3 feet to whack lipless white shad stick baits. Wipers are running 2-3 lbs right now. At times while we were trolling, we had 4 fish on (two lead core and two ultra-lights). Thermocline appears to be about 10-12 feet. Never seen the lake warm up this fast. Where we were fishing the surface temp was 68/69 degrees. Found a cove where the water temp was 71 in the afternoon.
