We don't get to hear enough of these stories so I thought I would share.

Three males were caught with 21 undersize(<8") dead Smallmouth at Chatfield on Friday. Two of the males were given citations and had their gear confiscated. Both citations will carry -15 points towards their license. They cannot lose anymore points or they will lose their privileged to fish in CO. The Rangers out there are proud of what they found and are on the lookout for more. Be advised, if you are a poacher there is a good chance somebody will be watching. If you do not know the regulations, do not fish until you do.

Ummm cuz they'd actually have to be able to catch them...there's a reason yhou cant use bait in a bass tourney...small bass are eating machines...

Good! That's interesting that fishing licenses have a point system like a drivers license. I was not aware of that. I've seen dudes at creek keep like six inch walleye. Some people are desperate.

Some think fishing is a game...... like a claw machine there are those who feel a fish caught is theirs where efforts ought to be rewarded.........on top of this, so many of these individuals know the regulations and just don't give a damn..... for those who are poaching, their right to fish in colorado should be taken away

If they really want to hand out citations they should go to Brush Hollow some weekend-there were times I felt I was the ONLY one obeying the rules down there.
