I never go fishing without my polarized glasses...especially when i am fishing shallow flats or streams. It seems i tend to spend a lot of time looking for fish and reading the bottom of the lake or river i am fishing, and the enhanced glare cutting ability polarization will give you is very helpful. as far as quality..i havnt honestly noticed much difference between my cheap glasses and my expensive ones. lens color will make a difference however. i tend to use a photo grey or a sandstone color, thats what works best for me. walmart makes some cheap ones that work well, try some of those if you are not sure and dont want to drop a lot of money initially on a pair or 100 dollar Action Optics. if youve never fished with polarized glasses before dont expect them to work 100% of the time...sometimes the angle of the sun makes them less effective...and dont try to read a digital read out with them, like on your wristwatch or a electronic gas pump...you wont see anything due to the polarization...it took me a while to figure this out lol
