I hit up a little pond that took some minor flood damage today from 5-7:30. The water was still a bit muddy looking but had some good clear water coming in from it's usual sorce, this is where I fished it. The crappie were agressive and bitting well with a few bluegill mixed in and a largemouth. When the wind died down I caught a nice sized sucker that will be bait for my icefishing trip this weekend! Later a wave of pumkinseeds came by and I caught 4. On my last few casts I caught a surprize perch and a golden shiner that I believe were flood transplants. I had tons of fun and caught a new record for me of 7 different species.

I think that pumkinseeds might be the pertiest fish in colorado
