Figured out a nice pattern Yesterday...
Got 7, (shoulda had 12-15) biggest was 24"..... (My net is 23" x 28")
NONE under 18"..
All were released.... I still have a few in freezer...
I'm finally figuring out My new phone.... LOL!
I was going to say that, too. If you're going to release a fish, you have to release it immediately and cannot keep it in a live well for any period of time as far as I know.
I don't believe the rules say that you can't release a fish after you put it in your livewell or on your stringer. What they say is that those fish count toward your limit.
I'm honestly surprised more crap is being given to you by these guys. You kept the biggest fish in the live well so you could get a pic of them all at the end of the day? Whats going on around here!? A few months ago you guys would have been all over this
Looks like culling is allowed in Colorado as long as you haven't hit your daily bag and possession limit.
From the regs:
"» Fish caught and placed on a stringer, in
a container or live well, or not returned
to the same water immediately count in
your daily bag or possession limit."
Nice fish! That is an easy mistake to make. Especially when you are getting out in your boat for the first time and are all jacked up!! I just got the truck back, so I hope to take mine out this weekend.
Riv just posted the first Wiper on Wiper addicts last night?
