East on Bromley about 10 miles from I-76 is what I've been told is a private lake. Most maps have it as Prospect lake. My neighbors tell me it restricted to members of the "Farmers Rod and Gun Club" or something to that effect. I've heard the wait is a long one and the DOW claims that it has a leaking bottom and is going to be refilled and restocked in the fall. The lake I see has plenty of water in it I just don't know about the fishing. It gets very little pressure. Questions: 1) What's the story? 2) Any fish? 3) I live within a couple of miles of it. I would love to become a member. How many people would have to die before the waiting list moves? Any insight would be great.

I know the lake your talking about and yes, it is private. I've asked around to try to get permission to hunt the lake with no success. You might check at Bait & Bullet in Brighton and see if they know how to get ahold of anyone, that or just knock on doors in the area and see what you can find out.

Just park in front of it and start filling up a float tube. The 1st person who stops to yell at you should have all the answers.  ;) Kill him, and theres one less person ahead of you on the list.  ;D I"M JUST KIDDING  :D

James,
Now there the type of fresh ideas and forwarding thinking that I was expecting out of the members of this site. If I could only find out when and where they were holding their annual meeting.........I could really move up that list. "Club President Fishdawg" I like the way that sounds. All in favor say aye.
