Any body been been hunting thse guys lately? Any reccommended areas? I was thinking maybe somewhere around mount evans or guenella pass? Any other suggestions?

Quite a nice population down near Durango and Creed in souther Colorado. North west of Durango has some access off the Colorado Trail. Creed and Lake City both have some great cover and with less pressure, there are lots of not too shy birds.

Around Vail has been good for grouse in past years. Dont hunt to high yet. They seem to still be in there breading Grounds.

all of my normal spots are pretty dry in the grouse department this year- must have been a bad hatch? I usually limit out every day. Down twards montrose and up near steam boat have showm me few birds this year.

up around Estes Park I've hunted the blue grouse on private land, probably could find them on public land in same vicinity

we were looking on our hike in to lily but i didnt see any but we saw tons of doves on the drive in
