Just an outrageously nice day on the lake-cool early on then got up to 70 with almost no wind until just before I left. Fished from daybreak until about 3-got about a dozen spots and smallies. Mostly from main lake points, a few on the first or second point into a cove. Fish came anywhere from 10 to 30 ft-everything on a tube or twin tailed skirted grub.

One smallie I caught had that milky, bleached out coloration from being deep, all the other fish had good color and were fat, spitting up shad parts as the came aboard. Water temp was 52 to just over 54-I've been fishing Pueblo since it opened up in the late 70's-can never remember a water temp that high in mid-Nov. Hopefully it lasts a little while longer

Hope your right. If it stays this warm we'll be throwing buzzbaits in Jan.

I did the same as you today. My strange fish was the darkest smallie that I have ever seen came out of 35 ft on mlp. I also had a low flying Apache helicopter turn and circle me as I was landing another nice smallie. That was just fricken awesome watching that copter hover around slow and close. Hats of to those guys ;D

I had no luck in my sail boat today.
Its was a great day to be out on the water. Didn't poke any holes in fish or lose any lures.
Did everything except cast at large lake points.
Tried to troll up some fish off of major points with no luck.
I fear some sailors might have thought my boat was drunk. Sail boats trying to slab aren't graceful.
