Did as I was told and trolled some Rattle Traps. Was pretty slow in the morning, switched to my normal Husky Jerk and got some hits but no hook up. I think they were Carp.
Later switched back to the Rattle Traps and tied on a old Rattln Rapala in a Blue Chrome.
Was crossing the Pond about 10 AM when I caught two nice Trout 15", 18.5".
Trout seem to be in cooler water then last week.
Didn't see any Shad boils or here about any Wiper.
Saw one boat hook a nice fish but they forgot a net. I forgot my pliers.

I did the same on wed and thur and like you I had lots of hits, think they were trout, and caught several small trout but one at 20in (released it). Did not see any boils in 12hrs of fishing. No walleye even though we fished some flats and the damm riprap at 5:30am. A guy we met at the ramp caught 10 walleye, one keeper, but he knows the lake, second time for me. The SM bass were good in only one location south of the cove across from the N ramp. Had fun but the lake is big and the learning curve is slow at least for me. I'll be back. The posts from other guys at this site appear to be good leads. Good luck on your next trip. Water temp was in the mid to upper 60's.
