A five species day-largemouth, smallies, spots, crappie and one walleye. This is about as good as the lake gets-water temp was 62-63, stained on the upper end, very clear lower. The bass are shallow and will hit anything put if front of them-if you can't catch fish here now, its time to take up golf. :)

Water level has remained very constant for the last 3 weeks-if it stays that way we're gonna have a very good spawn.

Having been out there (on the shore) ~2 times/wk for the last - well since Feb really - I can second this report 100%. Caught my PB smally yesterday (05/15) early morning.

Everything is shallow right now; same presentation can land a smally, an eye, and a crappie within 10 casts.

Topwater bite is on, too.
