Pueblo at night

Had the electric knife on the charger, new minnow bucket and bait, launched the big canoe from the Swallows area to show all this to the Wipers. Tried drifting, anchored, slow paddle.
Fished from 6 PM until 9:30. Not a bite.
Everything worked swell, big Moon. Perfect slip bobbers and the wind was ok. Very healthy bait dragging our gear all over the place.
Just not a bite. They must be morning fish?
While we were loading up the canoe for the ride home there was a foot long Shad splashing around the shore. I guess attracted to the lights.
I have Monday AM planned if the bait lives.

Re: Pueblo at night

You killed it when you got your FILLET knife out...... fish seem to be able to sense that move, somehow, someway...... kills me EVERY time. Same when I bring along a CAMERA.....
