I don’t have a tom of catfish experience. I am going to be fishing Pueblo this weekend and this summer and stuff and was wondering if someone could help me better understand what depths I should be targeting and what kind of structure, etc...thanks

Ok, so for catfish here's what I found that works for me. Starting about an hour before sunset find your self some shallow areas. Just east of the south boat ramp or south shore marina is where I've been hooking into them. You will need to use bait to be successful. I've used shrimp, crayfish tails and chicken liver to catch them. Most of them will be channels. You will need to fish the bottom with a 1 or 2 ounce weight with a 2 foot leader and a size 1 hook. The bite really gets hot around 9pm - 2am and again at 5am - 7am. Good luck!
