Late start and didn't expect much, Went West to Turkey creek. Lost a Carp, had a hit on a gulp jig.
Tried to jig up some Crappie and tried other lures.
Place is still a Shad soup. Tried to take a underwater picture of the balls of shad. Water temp 61'

Not that you asked me, but I had my kayak in the Grand park area with a 46 surface temp on the water last week. I am going back tomorrow & next week. I plan on kayak fishing right up till ice over.
