Got the lake around 8:30 and fished around shiprock until 2:00. Had to leave because of the wind. The water temp was 38 degrees. Jigged all day in 40 to 70 FOW. Ended up catching a 15 inch walleye and a 3 pound channel cat. Here is the pic of the cat. Yummy
fishhunter-you know I haven't really checked it out since the beginning of the year. At that time, it was frozen all the way to 3 finger coves. Normally, I go staight to Shiprock, the channel near there holds fish. I have to thank Earplug and Kirbydog for their advice about lures and such. Thanks guys, this forum is a great place to improve your fishing skills!
